What is the difference between strategic and tactical asset allocation?
Strategic asset allocation sets long-term target weights and holds to them, while tactical asset allocation makes shorter-term shifts away from those targets to respond to market conditions. Strategic is the anchor; tactical is the deviation. For example, a strategic plan might fix 10 percent in alternatives, while a tactical move temporarily raises or lowers that figure based on a near-term view. Qatobit's QSI crypto indices follow a rules-based, documented methodology with monthly rebalancing, an approach closer to strategic discipline than discretionary tactical timing. You can read the methodology to see how the rules are set.
Crypto investments are subject to market risk and volatility. Past performance is not indicative of future returns. This is general information, not investment advice — consider your own circumstances or consult a qualified adviser before investing.
