Trading & Technical Analysis

What is the difference between technical analysis and fundamental analysis?

Technical analysis and fundamental analysis are two ways to study an asset. Technical analysis reads price charts, volume, and patterns to judge likely future movement, assuming price reflects available information. Fundamental analysis examines underlying value drivers, such as a protocol's adoption, token economics, network usage, or revenue. A technical trader might act on a breakout; a fundamental investor might weigh whether a network is actually used. Many serious investors combine both. Qatobit's index methodology leans on documented, rules-based criteria rather than discretionary chart reading. Read the methodology.

Crypto investments are subject to market risk and volatility. Past performance is not indicative of future returns. This is general information, not investment advice — consider your own circumstances or consult a qualified adviser before investing.
