Mutual Funds & ETFs

What is an international mutual fund?

An international mutual fund is a fund domiciled in India that invests primarily in equities or assets listed outside India, giving domestic investors exposure to foreign markets without opening overseas accounts. It may track a single country, a region, or a global index, and returns reflect both the underlying assets and currency movement against the rupee. For example, a US-focused fund rises or falls with US stocks and with how the dollar moves versus the rupee. These funds carry their own market and currency risk, so the geography of an allocation matters as much as the asset itself.

Crypto investments are subject to market risk and volatility. Past performance is not indicative of future returns. This is general information, not investment advice — consider your own circumstances or consult a qualified adviser before investing.
