What is the difference between a bull market and a bear market?
A bull market is a sustained period of rising asset prices and broad investor optimism, while a bear market is a sustained period of falling prices, often defined as a decline of twenty percent or more from recent highs. The terms describe direction and sentiment across equities, crypto, and other assets, not a guarantee of what comes next. For example, an index climbing steadily over months reflects bull conditions, while a prolonged drop signals a bear phase. Market cycles are unpredictable; no condition assures future performance. At Qatobit, our indices rebalance monthly through a documented methodology designed to stay disciplined across cycles. Read the methodology.
Crypto investments are subject to market risk and volatility. Past performance is not indicative of future returns. This is general information, not investment advice — consider your own circumstances or consult a qualified adviser before investing.
