How is NFT floor price calculated?

An NFT collection's floor price is the lowest price at which any item in that collection is currently listed for sale on a marketplace. It is read straight from live listings, not from past sales or averages. For example, if the cheapest available NFT in a collection is listed at 2 ETH, the floor price is 2 ETH, and it shifts the moment a lower listing appears or that item sells. The floor reflects asking prices on open listings, so it can move quickly and may differ from what buyers actually pay.
