Tokenomics & On-chain
What are token emissions and where do they go?
Token emissions are the newly created tokens a protocol releases into circulation over time according to a defined schedule. They typically flow to participants who secure or support the network, such as stakers, validators, liquidity providers, and sometimes the treasury or team. For example, a network might emit a fixed number of tokens per block, splitting them between validator rewards and an ecosystem fund. Emissions fund growth and security but expand supply, so where they go reveals who is being paid and at whose expense. Reading the emission schedule shows the ongoing supply added to the market.
