How do I revoke a token approval?

Revoking a token approval is the act of cancelling permission you previously granted a smart contract to spend tokens from your wallet. You do it by sending a transaction that sets the contract's spending allowance back to zero, typically through a token approval checker tool or your wallet's permissions screen. For example, you connect your wallet to a revocation tool, see every active approval, and submit a transaction to remove ones you no longer use. Revoking costs a small network fee and requires your signature. Periodically clearing stale approvals limits how many contracts can touch your funds.
