Is an NFO at Rs 10 NAV cheaper than an existing fund?

No, an NFO priced at Rs 10 NAV is not cheaper than an existing fund at a higher NAV; the per-unit number says nothing about value. NAV reflects the value of the underlying holdings divided by units, so Rs 50,000 buys the same market exposure whether it is 5,000 units at Rs 10 or 500 units at Rs 100.
