What does a stable reserve do inside a QSI index?
A stable reserve inside a QSI index is an allocation held in a dollar-pegged stablecoin rather than in volatile crypto, used to manage how much market exposure the index carries at a given time. It acts as a steadier component that can cushion swings and provide capital to redeploy during rebalancing. For example, raising the stable portion lowers the index's exposure to falling crypto prices, though it does not remove risk. Qatobit's QSI indices follow a documented methodology with monthly rebalancing. Read the methodology to see how reserve levels are decided.
