What is multi-party computation (MPC) in crypto wallets?
Multi-party computation (MPC) is a cryptographic method that lets several parties jointly sign a crypto transaction without any of them ever holding the full private key. Each party computes using only its own key share, and the signature is produced from those shares without reconstructing the complete key. This means a single compromised device or person cannot move funds alone. For example, an exchange might require three of its servers to participate in signing, so no individual server failure exposes the assets.
Crypto investments are subject to market risk and volatility. Past performance is not indicative of future returns. This is general information, not investment advice — consider your own circumstances or consult a qualified adviser before investing.
