Stablecoins, RWA & Tokenization
What is tokenized real estate?
Tokenized real estate is property ownership represented as blockchain tokens, where each token stands for a fractional stake in a building or a fund that holds property. Instead of buying a whole apartment, an investor can hold a small share recorded on-chain, with rights to a proportional slice of rental income or sale proceeds. For example, a commercial building worth ten crore could be divided into thousands of tokens. The structure relies on a legal entity actually owning the property and a custodian or administrator maintaining the link between tokens and title.
