DeFi & Yield
What is yield farming in crypto?
Yield farming is the practice of moving crypto assets across DeFi protocols to earn returns from trading fees, lending interest, or token rewards. Participants deposit assets into pools or lending markets, often staking the resulting tokens elsewhere to layer multiple income streams. For example, you might supply a stablecoin to a lending protocol, then stake that position to collect an additional reward token. Returns can shift quickly as incentives change, and stacking strategies adds smart-contract, market, and token-price exposure on top of one another.
Crypto investments are subject to market risk and volatility. Past performance is not indicative of future returns. This is general information, not investment advice — consider your own circumstances or consult a qualified adviser before investing.
