What is holder distribution and why does it matter?
Holder distribution describes how a crypto token's supply is spread across wallet addresses, from large concentrated holders to many small ones. It matters because concentration shapes risk: when a few addresses hold most of the supply, their actions can move the price sharply, while a broad distribution suggests more dispersed ownership. For example, a token where the top ten wallets hold 70 percent carries more concentration risk than one spread across thousands of holders. Distribution is read alongside vesting and supply data, since locked allocations can mask true concentration.
