What are whale wallets and how do they affect a token?
Whale wallets are addresses holding a large share of a crypto token's supply, large enough that their trades can move the market. They affect a token through both action and signal: a large sell can pressure the price, a large accumulation can support it, and visible whale movements often influence how other holders behave. For example, a single wallet unloading a significant position can trigger a sharp short-term drop. Because their holdings concentrate risk, analysts track whale activity alongside overall holder distribution to gauge how exposed a token is to a few decisions.
Crypto investments are subject to market risk and volatility. Past performance is not indicative of future returns. This is general information, not investment advice — consider your own circumstances or consult a qualified adviser before investing.
