The point
A weekly or biweekly Crypto SIP on Qatobit starts at ₹500 per instalment. The monthly one starts at ₹2,000. A SIP is a standing instruction that invests a fixed amount on a fixed schedule.
Point that same SIP at a QSI Crypto Index, a basket holding several coins at once, and the floor is ₹2,000 every time. The cadence makes no difference. Every purchase has to clear the index's own ₹2,000 minimum.
Two things set that floor: how often the money moves, and what it buys.
Where the three floors come from
Cadence can be weekly, biweekly, or monthly. The destination can be a single cryptocurrency through Quick Buy/Sell, or a QSI Crypto Index. Change either one and the minimum instalment moves with it, which is how one product ends up carrying three floors.
Recurring crypto plans across major Indian exchanges grew more than 60 percent year over year in 2025. Small, repeated commitments account for that growth. A ladder that sets the floor too high at the small end shuts out the investor this format is built for.
How the three numbers are set
Cadence sets the floor for a single coin
A weekly or biweekly Crypto SIP into one cryptocurrency starts at ₹500. The monthly one starts at ₹2,000, four times higher.
Weekly and biweekly both reach the account more than once a month, so each instalment can be smaller. A monthly SIP gets one instalment to carry the whole month, and its floor is set higher for that reason.
Four weekly instalments at the ₹500 floor already total ₹2,000. A calendar month runs slightly longer than four weeks, averaging 4.33 weeks (52 weeks across 12 months). That puts the real monthly total from the weekly floor nearer ₹2,167, above the monthly SIP's own ₹2,000 floor.
The index floor holds at every cadence
Every QSI Crypto Index carries its own ₹2,000 per-index minimum. A Crypto SIP running into an index starts at ₹2,000 per instalment to match it, on weekly, biweekly and monthly alike.
The single-coin ladder of ₹500, ₹500 and ₹2,000 stops applying the moment the SIP buys an index. An index purchase clears the index's own minimum every time.
Underneath both, a ₹200 floor on the bank rails
Every SIP instalment reaches the platform over ordinary bank transfer, by NEFT, RTGS or IMPS. Those rails carry a ₹200 minimum on deposit and ₹200 on withdrawal, at no fee either way.
NEFT and IMPS transfers can go as low as ₹1 industry-wide, so ₹200 is Qatobit's own platform minimum, set well above what the rails require. It never binds a SIP, because no SIP instalment on the platform is small enough to reach it.
The ladder in real rupees
Set a weekly Crypto SIP into Bitcoin at the ₹500 floor and you commit ₹500 a week through Quick Buy/Sell.
Keep that weekly cadence and point it at QSI Growth, one of the indexes, and the floor jumps to ₹2,000 a week. The instalment now clears the index's own minimum.
Go back to a single coin and move the cadence to monthly, and the floor is ₹2,000 once a month. That is the same number as the index floor. Here it comes from the cadence, because one instalment has to carry the whole month.
What the ladder means for how you start
Two questions set the floor: how often the money moves, and whether it buys one coin or an index. Which coin, or which index, leaves it unchanged.
A first SIP into a single coin, weekly or biweekly, is the smallest entry on the platform at ₹500. The same SIP pointed at a Crypto Index costs ₹2,000 at any cadence, because every index purchase clears the index's own floor.
How a Crypto SIP works covers the mechanism end to end. For the account steps, see how to set up a recurring crypto investment in India.
₹500 buys a weekly SIP into a single coin. ₹2,000 is the entry into an index, on whatever schedule you pick.
Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum amount for a Crypto SIP on Qatobit?
A weekly or biweekly Crypto SIP into a single cryptocurrency starts at ₹500 per instalment. The monthly minimum is ₹2,000. Any Crypto SIP into a QSI Crypto Index starts at ₹2,000 per instalment, whatever the cadence.
Why is the monthly SIP minimum four times the weekly one?
A monthly SIP gets one instalment a month to carry the commitment, so its floor is set at ₹2,000. Weekly and biweekly SIPs reach the account more often. Each instalment can carry ₹500 and still add up to a comparable monthly total.
Can a weekly Crypto SIP into a QSI Index cost ₹500?
No. A Crypto SIP into a Crypto Index always starts at ₹2,000 per instalment, whatever the cadence. Every index purchase has to clear the index's own ₹2,000 per-index minimum. The ₹500 floor applies only to a SIP into a single cryptocurrency.
What is the minimum deposit and withdrawal amount on Qatobit?
₹200 on either side, deposit or withdrawal, with no fee, over NEFT, RTGS or IMPS bank transfer.
Does the SIP minimum change based on which cryptocurrency is chosen?
No. The ₹500 and ₹2,000 floors apply to a SIP into a single cryptocurrency whichever asset is selected. The floor depends on cadence, and on whether the SIP buys one coin or a Crypto Index.
