The point
Nine platforms in India sell something described as a basket, a coin set or a crypto index: Mudrex, BitSave, ZebPay, Giottus, Unocoin, CoinDCX, CoinSwitch, CryptoSmartlife and Qatobit. Each was read against its own page on 17 September 2026. Only two, Mudrex and Qatobit, publish what is inside the basket, how often it rebalances and what it costs, together, on a page anyone can read before signing up.

What each platform publishes, checked page by page
Mudrex Coin Sets
Mudrex sells more than 20 Coin Sets, theme baskets such as Crypto Blue Chip, layered on top of its exchange (mudrex.com, read this run). Buying into a Coin Set costs nothing on the invest side. A monthly rebalance costs 0.25 to 1 percent depending on the Coin Set. Redeeming inside the first month after a rebalance costs 1 percent, free after that (mudrex.com/fee, read this run). Mudrex states insured cold storage through "Lloyd's of London," ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type 2 certification, and describes itself as "FIU REGISTERED" on its own homepage. A Coin Set's actual holdings load inside the app. An automated read of the page's static text this run did not return an itemized constituent list. A Coin Set's live composition is only checkable by visiting the app itself. Read the full Mudrex comparison.
BitSave
BitSave positions itself as "Safe. Simple. Supervised," a managed wrapper around three products rather than a basket a user builds themselves (bitsave.club, read this run). Its Crypto Index product tracks the Bloomberg Galaxy Crypto Index, described on the page as "primarily Bitcoin and Ethereum." It rebalances monthly. The minimum investment is $50, and the minimum SIP is $10. A Crypto and Gold product carries the same monthly rebalance at a $10 minimum. A Bitcoin-only product costs 0.95 percent a year, against 1.5 percent a year for the other two. All figures read today are dollar-denominated. An earlier check of the same site found rupee minimums, so BitSave appears to have changed its stated minimums since. There is no lock-in, and the page states withdrawal is processed within 2 days. BitSave states its cold-storage assets carry "Lloyd's of London insurance" and sit with "a regulated, institutional custodian." That custodian is named on BitSave's trust page, not repeated here. Read the full BitSave comparison.
ZebPay CryptoPacks
ZebPay's CryptoPacks are described on their own feature page as "well-balanced portfolios" curated by "experienced professionals," with a "Risk and Reward Rating" attached to each one (zebpay.com, read this run). The page publishes no constituent list, no rebalance calendar and no CryptoPack-specific fee. None of the three appeared on ZebPay's separate pricing page either, read the same run. That pricing page shows KYC as free unless enhanced KYC is required, which costs ₹590 including GST. Fiat deposits are free and fiat withdrawal is a flat ₹15. Spot fees start at 0.45 percent maker and taker at the lowest 30-day volume tier, falling to 0.03 percent at the highest. ZebPay separately runs a Bitcoin SIP, advertised on its own homepage the day this was read. Read the full ZebPay comparison.
Giottus Baskets
Giottus's fee page, read this run, prices spot fees on a 30-day volume ladder from 0.4 percent down to 0.05 percent on INR pairs, with 18 percent GST added. It names no basket-specific fee, minimum or rebalance calendar anywhere on the page. Giottus's basket landing page returned a not-found error on this run's read, so neither today's basket count nor their constituents could be confirmed. As of 17 September 2026 we could not find a published basket rulebook on Giottus's own site. Read the full Giottus comparison.
Unocoin Crypto Basket
Unocoin runs sixteen named baskets, counted from its own basket page this run (unocoin.com), which pitches itself as "Mutual Funds… but for Crypto":
- Blue Chip, DeFi, Memecoin, Beginner, Gaming and NFT.
- Friendship, Good Entry Micro Cap and Good Entry Mid Cap.
- Stablecoin, Governance, Privacy and VC Watchlist.
- Metaverse, Market Cap and Volume Leaders.
None of the sixteen basket cards publish a constituent list, a weighting rule, a rebalance calendar, a minimum or a fee. "View Details" is the only action offered on each. Unocoin calls itself "India's pioneering crypto exchange since 2013" on the same page. Read the full Unocoin comparison.
CoinDCX Crypto Baskets
CoinDCX's own support site lists "CoinDCX prime" as a distinct help topic, separate from ordinary spot orders, KYC and deposit support (support.coindcx.com, read this run). coindcx.com itself returned an automated-access error on the same read, so its Prime baskets page could not be checked directly today. As of 17 September 2026 we could not find a public page naming CoinDCX's basket constituents, cadence or fee. Prime sits as a distinct, separately gated section on CoinDCX's own support site. CoinDCX's retail crypto SIP runs on single coins.
CoinSwitch
CoinSwitch sells no basket or index product today. Its crypto SIP, read on its own page this run, runs a single chosen cryptocurrency on a repeating schedule. The page itself describes the idea as removing "the need for large initial capital." A recurring buyer on CoinSwitch buys one coin on repeat. Read the full CoinSwitch comparison.
CryptoSmartlife Thematic Baskets
CryptoSmartlife runs AI-assisted theme baskets, investable through its own CSL Wallet or a connected exchange (cryptosmartlife.com, read this run). Its pricing page, read the same run, charges a flat 1 percent on every buy and sell order placed through the CSL Wallet. Rebalancing, in the page's own words, is "executed only on user confirmation," rather than on a fixed calendar. As of 17 September 2026 we could not find a published basket count, constituent list or minimum on CryptoSmartlife's own pages.
The count the page turns on
Every platform above was checked on the same twelve factors:
- Product, basket count and constituents published.
- Weighting rule published and rebalance cadence published.
- Minimum, fee to buy and fee per rebalance.
- Exit fee, annual fee and SIP into the basket.
- Live proof of reserves.
Read against each platform's own page this run, only two of the nine publish constituents, rebalance cadence and fee together, in one place, before anyone signs up. Mudrex's Coin Set pages price a monthly rebalance at 0.25 to 1 percent. Qatobit's four QSI indices publish a documented, monthly-rebalanced methodology at a flat 0.35 percent per rebalance. The other seven each publish part of the picture. BitSave publishes a fee and a cadence but names its constituents only in general terms, "primarily Bitcoin and Ethereum," rather than as a list. ZebPay, Giottus, Unocoin and CryptoSmartlife publish neither a constituent list nor a rebalance calendar on the pages read this run. CoinDCX's basket product sits behind a Prime tier with nothing public to read. CoinSwitch has no basket to publish anything about.
The QSI indices, in full
Qatobit is a crypto index investing platform in India: investors hold a curated basket of digital assets, rebalanced on a published methodology, rather than picking coins.
- Four QSI indices are on sale: QSI Core, QSI Growth, QSI VRION and QSI GEQ8.
- QSI Core holds Bitcoin, Ethereum, Gold, and a stable reserve (USDT Earn).
- Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Gold, and a stable reserve (USDT Earn) make up QSI Growth.
- QSI VRION holds Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana, with no hedge layer.
- Eight global companies in three sleeves make up QSI GEQ8. Platform: Apple, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta Platforms and NVIDIA. Digital finance: Coinbase and Robinhood Markets. Innovation: Tesla. No single holding sits above 15 percent or below 3 percent, and the composition is reviewed quarterly.
- Every index publishes its constituents on its own product page; weights are described by construction and drift between monthly rebalances.
- Methodology is documented per index and published before launch, rules-based, with monthly rebalancing on all four indices.
- The minimum per index is ₹2,000.
- The fee to buy, sell or rebalance an index is 0.35 percent of the transaction amount, shown before confirmation.
- There is no annual management fee.
- There is no exit load, lock-in or minimum holding period, on any index, at any holding period.
- Crypto SIP runs weekly or biweekly from ₹500, or monthly from ₹2,000; SIP into an index starts at ₹2,000 per cadence.
- INR deposit and withdrawal run by bank transfer, NEFT, RTGS or IMPS, ₹200 minimum either way, at no fee.
- Custody is institutional custody; the partner is never named.
- Proof of reserves is live, available at any time.
Who should choose which
A buyer who wants the widest choice of themes, and is comfortable researching each Coin Set inside the app, finds that at Mudrex. It is currently the only platform on this page other than Qatobit that publishes a rebalance fee and cadence in one place. A buyer who wants a single managed Bitcoin or Bitcoin-and-Gold product, with a relationship manager on WhatsApp, finds that at BitSave. Its annual cost runs materially higher than a per-rebalance fee. A buyer building one recurring position in one coin, rather than a basket, has simpler entry points at ZebPay, CoinSwitch or Unocoin's own SIP tools. Qatobit's four QSI indices are built for a buyer who wants every rule, every fee and every holding published before committing money, with nothing held back behind a higher tier. Qatobit does not offer futures, leverage or a venue for picking and timing individual coins. A reader who wants those stays with the platforms built for them.
A reader new to the mechanics can start with what a crypto index actually is. Or with what a crypto index asks of an investor that picking coins does not.

Frequently asked questions
Which platforms in India sell a crypto basket, coin set or index today?
Eight platforms checked this run sell a basket, coin set or index-shaped product: Mudrex, BitSave, ZebPay, Giottus, Unocoin, CoinDCX, CryptoSmartlife and Qatobit. CoinSwitch, also checked, sells a single-coin SIP rather than a basket.
What is the minimum to invest in a crypto basket in India?
Minimums vary and several platforms do not publish one on their own basket page. Confirmed this run: Mudrex from $5 on its landing page. BitSave runs from $50 for its Crypto Index product and $10 for its Crypto and Gold product. Qatobit's QSI indices start from ₹2,000. ZebPay, Giottus, Unocoin, CoinDCX and CryptoSmartlife showed no basket-specific minimum on the pages read.
Do these platforms publish what is actually inside a basket?
Only two of the nine publish the constituents, the rebalance cadence and the fee together on a page anyone can read before signing up: Mudrex and Qatobit. The rest publish some of the three or none of them, detailed platform by platform above.
Is CoinDCX's basket product open to everyone?
CoinDCX's own support site lists "CoinDCX prime" as a separate, gated help topic. Nothing public on the pages read this run names who qualifies, what a CoinDCX basket costs or what it holds.
Does a recurring buy into a basket cost more than a recurring buy of one coin?
The two are different products. A single-coin SIP, offered by ZebPay, CoinSwitch and others, buys one asset on a schedule. A basket SIP, such as Qatobit's Crypto SIP into a QSI index from ₹2,000 per cadence, buys several assets in one instalment on the same schedule.
Crypto investments are subject to market risk. Not financial advice.
